Paul Lima has been a professional writer and writing instructor for over 25 years. Since 1988, he has run his own communications business, delivering the following services:

Qualified adult educator
Paul has developed and taught report writing, business writing, advertising copywriting, media relations and search engine optimization seminars for corporate and non-profit clients and students enrolled in courses offered by the University of Toronto, George Brown College and various writers’ associations. He is a regular guest speaker at Wordstock, held each year at Ryerson University.

For corporate clients
Paul writes case studies, media releases, white papers, articles for annual reports, in-house publications and websites, brochure, direct marketing and advertising and websites content. In addition, he conducts writing, presentation and media interview training workshops.

For newspapers and magazines
Paul writes business profiles and case studies and articles dealing with the business use of technology. His work has appeared in numerous publications, including Globe and Mail, National Post, Toronto Star, CBC.ca, Time Canada, Backbone, Profit, Network World Canada, Computer Dealer News and other publications.

Paul is the author of several books on business writing, copywriting, non-fiction book writing, and the business of freelance writing.

An English major from York University, Paul Lima has worked as an advertising copywriter (print and broadcast), graduate placement coordinator, continuing education manager and instructor and magazine editor of Northern Lights and Toronto Computes.
